We are immediately seeking a Business Development Analyst to support sales team efforts and help cultivate new business opportunities. The most successful people in this role have a passion for the emerging tech space, are highly motivated, analytical, productive and organized.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Lead, your sales efforts will help build customer value and drive new business. You will be responsible for positioning Solstice’s solutions to companies in key verticals and markets. Activities involve prospecting, researching, and list building.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Prospect and support new business opportunities through research
  • Work with team lead to establish individual quarterly goals based upon overarching Business Development team goals
  • Uncover interested prospects and decision-makers to initiate sales process
  • Develop, maintain, and expand the database of prospects within the pipeline
  • Maintain a high level of Solstice solution expertise and competitive intelligence, becoming an expert on customer experience and emerging technology
  • Work closely with Business Development team to develop strategy surrounding targeted industries and territories
  • Develop prospecting plans in order to achieve individual and company goals
  • Submit accurate and complete information in Salesforce.com and provide regular updates to management regarding opportunities, trends and challenges
  • Managing and coordinating Solstice events
  • Planning, execution, retrospectives and follow-up

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Event planning and management experience
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Graduated or advanced student (Preferred careers Marketing, Sociology, Social Communications)
  • Driven to succeed and highly motivated
